Kimchi is a living, fermented food. Its flavor, acidity and texture continue to change after production. Recently made kimchi has a fresher, milder flavor and a firmer, more raw-like crunch. As it ferments, it gradually becomes softer and tangier. The exact development can vary depending on the season, the vegetables and the storage temperature. Choose a recently made jar for a fresher bite, or a more mature jar if you enjoy stronger, sourer kimchi.

For orders within Zwolle, where our kimchi is made, both pickup and local delivery may be available. Available pickup locations can be selected during checkout. Pickup is charged per order, while local delivery fees may vary depending on the order amount. For standard local orders, kimchi is usually packed in glass jars. Larger custom orders may require different packaging, depending on the quantity and delivery arrangement.

For orders outside Zwolle, packaging may differ from our standard glass-jar packaging. Because kimchi continues to ferment and may build pressure during transport, single glass jars are not always the safest option for longer-distance delivery. To reduce the risk of leakage or pressure-related damage, kimchi may first be packed in a suitable food-safe bag, then placed inside insulated packaging with cooling materials. Once you receive your kimchi, please transfer it to a clean, airtight container suitable for fermented food storage and keep it refrigerated.

Each kimchi product is made with a different combination of ingredients. Ingredients and allergens may vary, so please read the product description carefully before ordering.

Because our kimchi is a fresh, refrigerated food product, we do not offer voluntary returns, exchanges, or refunds for a change of mind after collection or delivery. Especially, Custom Kimchi is a product prepared according to the customer's specifications and is also not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights. If your order is incorrect, damaged, unsafe, or does not match the product description, please contact us as soon as possible. Include your order details and, where relevant, photographs of the product and packaging. We will review the matter and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, price reduction, or refund.
